Step 1: Remove the screen

First, we need to remove the broken front glass. Put the iPhone into the working area of TBK-288 Automatic Screen Separating Machine. One button to start automatic screen separation. It needs a while to heat up. After the heating is completed, it starts to absorb and remove the screen. Thus the screen is successfully separated. Then let’s take out the iPhone, disconnect the flex cable and remove the screen.

Step 2: Separate the front glass and LCD

After removing the screen, we start separate the front glass and LCD. Add alcohol to the side to soften the bracket glue, and remove the screen bracket with a blade. We can stick the cracked screen front glass with adhesive tape to facilitate separation. Then put the screen into the separation working area of the TBK-208M Lamination and Defoaming Integrated Machine. Turn on the separation, adsorption and heating function of the machine. After that, use cutting wire to slowly separate the front glass from the LCD. Last, Spray some alcohol on the screen LCD to remove the residual OCA glue.

Step 3: Replace with a new front glass

Next install the screen with the front glass removed into the phone for testing. Confirm that the display and touch functions are normal. Put the LCD of the screen into the alignment mold and wipe it with alcohol to remove the dust. Then put a new Dr.Parts Prime quality front glass on it for alignment.

Step 4: Laminating the new front glass

Put the screen back into the working compartment of the TBK-208M Lamination and Defoaming Integrated Machine. Close the door and turn on the automatic laminating function. After laminating, take out the screen.

Step 5: Defoaming and testing

We find there are bubbles after tearing off the protective film. So put the screen back into the working compartment of the TBK-208M machine. Close the door and turn on the automatic defoaming function. At last, install the iPhone to test after defoaming. We can see that the display and touch functions are all normal. Thus the replacement of front glass of iPhone X is successfully completed.
